Heheh! INDEED! And I couldn't agree more that there is little pleasure in drinking water when you're not actually thirsty feeling. But it's all in the name of 'geetin' er DONE, so boom.

EDIT: BTW, "Mago", please share the story/info behind that handle, svp. the flavored stuff if water, flavor, and aspartame. and carbonation. Works for me... Mago is my capoeira nickname. Many moons ago, the Brazilian slaveowners could not say African names, so they made up silly names to call their slaves. When one escaped and made it to a slave city (qilombos in Portuguese) they were given a new name, one that reflected some quality of them as a person. In capoeira, because it was illegal for so long in Brazil, capoeiristas took that practice, calling each other by nick instead of name in order to protect identity. For example: Police break up a game of capoeira. Some escape. When interrogated, the captured ones could not give a real name to their comrades because they didn't have it to give. My name is because of the way I play capoeira. Apparently I move my hands like I'm doing magic, and I move faster than I appear to. Magician = Mago in Portuguese. G refers to my real name, and everyone knows Ds of gp.com...

Hmmm my sons Dr told him he was drinking way too much water, I wonder how much is too much? I always heard we don't drink enough of it, Is there a website out there that verifies this allegation?

I recently got a message to the same effect, Mad., so I have trimmed it down to 2-2.5L/day, it was over 4 for a while there, and NONE too practical for everyday living/peeing, I tell ya!
I have read that the human kidneys can easily process up to an incredible 15L per day. Now after whizzing my way through 4+, I really cannot imagine ingesting that amount unless living in some 50 degree celcius environment and working out in it, on top of it.
All I know is, that I'm likely not washing away as many minerals through peein' as I was when I was drinking the 4+.

Oh I feel like I'm runing a marathon after taking my water pill Lasix, so I'm with ya on the Ppp's, toilet gets a flushing of it's life daily, Ha ha ha, I just need to know how much is too much for congestive heart failure, I don't want to drink too much due to swelling of my whole body, especially my legs and feet, but then I don't want to not drink enough and then dehydrate myself after taking a lasix either, ???hmmm

That's exactly what I was going to suggest.
I do know that a lot of times swelling around the ankles and such can be helped by... hehehe... drinking water. The standard that you always hear around the US is 8-8oz glasses a day. That works out to just under 2 liters. I recently bought a jug that holds 2.3 liters, so I fill it at the beginning of the day and sip all day long!
