If you know a healthy/low-cal/low-fat alternative to some of the better things in the food realm, post them here to share with everyone!
Here are a couple I know...
Country Crock Light is only 50 calories a Tablespoon! (That's 1 WW point!) Nips candies are onle 30 calories each. (2 for 1 point) Fat-free Nayonaise tastes almost like the real thing for a fraction of the calories.

Skinny Cow ice cream rocks! And no fat per serving
baked potato chips, or the light kind actually taste wonderful and are much healthier for you (my personal fave the light Lays original with low fat dip.. YUMMY!)
No Pudge makes brownies that are to die for, and use non fat vanilla yogurt to make, thats all. only 1gram of fat per brownie..
addicted to candy.. try the low fat candies like york peppermint patties, candy corn, jelly beans, etc.. they will curb your sweet tooth with only the fraction of calories and fat then a candy bar

Blue Bunny Brand ice cream has some wonderful Lo cal ice cream bars. Many choices. They are wonderful.
I love the I can't believe it's not butter spray.
Here is a healthy alternative to fried french fries.. Peel and slice your potatoes into fry shapes. Dip them in egg white. Bake untill brown... and you have a fat free french fry... very tasty!!!

I'll have to try that!
Have you ever tried sweet potato chips? They are baked also. I haven't tried them yet, but it's one that I keep seeing coming up as a healthy alternative.

That is funny you asked that.. My sister's fiance' swears by them. He said his mom used to make them all the time. They sound really good, but I have never tried them
I also want to try grilled egg plant. Racheal Ray put it on a sandwich today on her show, and it looked really good. I know alot of people who loke it, I am just scared to try new things.. lol.. But it looked yummy!

Keep in mind that trans fatty acids are often in products like margerine and factory-made cakes/bars etc., so avoiding them is key for a healthy heart. In fact, in NYC right now, they are thinking of BANNING Transfats! Incredible. Lo-fat cream cheese, is a good sub. for butter/marg. on breads 'n such. Peanut butter, (and as natural as you can find it), is an excellent source of many good fats + protein. I often eat whole wheat crisp-bread with peanut butter and slice nana's. Not too bad at all, and right good for the body. Baking your own sweet potatos is both easy, and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Just slice one up, nice and thin, plop the pieces in a bowl and toss with a mere tablespoon of olive oil, (extra virgin), put on abaking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt, fresh black pepper, and if you want, ('cause it's GREAT), a lil garlic powder too. I made these just the other day. Anytime you can make something fresh yourself, it's almost always a plus. Quality control and all that.

At the grocery store today hubby found "Double Fiber" bread. I forget who makes it (maybe Nature's Own), but it is only 40 calories a slice with 5 grams of fiber!!! Imagine making two sandwiches with that stuff!!!

Mrs. Freshleys has a 2 point Otmeal cream pie that is YUMMO! and their 2 point twinkies isnt bad. I've only seen them at walmart and they are more expensive but they are just as good in my opinion. I think the oatmeal cream pies have a yogurt cream filling. They are in a yellow/green box
