I'd say that this is the perfect spot. And, coincidentally enough, I read an article about this just yesterday on Jamie Oliver's website. Let me go dig up the article... www.weightwatchers.com/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=32801If the article doesn't show up (as in you need to be a member to access) let me know and I'll hit the high points for ya.

TY Nooney. Great Article.
I try and sneak wheat bread into my kids. The only way the will eat it, is if it is a grilled cheese. They can not tell a difference.
I can also sneak some banana slices on thier peanut butter sandwich.
My daughter loves Ranch dressing, and she can not tell a difference with fat free.. so she will eat it with carrots sometimes, or on a salad.
THose are some of my tricks.. lol..
I am hoping they will not be picky as they get older.

Funny thing about our girls... they can't stand white bread! Grew up eating wheat and won't touch white bread unless it's a bun of some sort. Even then, the younger one usually just eats the meat and not the bun.
I think a lot of it also has to do with the age of the kids. The girls are old enough now (and being put on their own diets by doctors for other health reasons) that we can discuss what good and bad choices are. When we go out and I get something relatively healthy (as everything when you are eating out is relative) I will tell them what is in it and give them a taste. If it's something we all like, I'll look for an even healthier version to fix at home.
