Here's a site with some major support action, with some great info, especially for those just new to shaping up both dietarily and excercise-wise: www.sparkpeople.com/

Oh, and since there's already members from different parts of the world in here, this is a useful site for converting pound and kilos easily. www.healthyweightforum.org/eng/converter.aspOh, and as I just learned this recently, a "British Stone" = 14 pounds.

Welcoming, Jess. Here's another that is handy as it lists amounts in cups and grams. Plus, it includes some "dangerous" foods, like piiiiiiiiiies 'n caaaaaaaaaakes 'n stuff. But I really do like having the gram info, for this Euro-way of life here. Voila: www.findanutritionist.com/resources/tables/calories_fat.html

I just ran across this one looking up some information for one of the kiddos... www.healthcastle.com/index.shtmlIn the articles, when they talk about kilocalories, that is the equivalent to the Calories that are on the nutritional information (note, Calories with a capital c is different from calories. 1 Calorie = 1000 calories)
