Good article, Thanks Nooney, I was on the Atkins diet for a year, at one time I had lost 87 pounds, it also put me in the hospital too, I was malnourished and had double phenomena, this was done from a Dr.’s care too, was told to stop the diet and I did and of course once I started eating other foods the weight came back on full force but this diet does work but it has risk.

That's exactly why I stay away from diets that l\exclude food groups. Once you get a craving, you go to it and can't stop (well, I can't anyway) and then everything you've done is blown. I think that's why I do well on WW. You can have what you want, but you either have to be happy with smaller portions or similar alternatives, or you have to do without something else. It makes you choose what is important to you.
And even though I've agined weight after going off of WW, I'll admit that it takes a long time for it to happen because the habits become pretty hard to break. (Yet I do so well at breaking them!!! lol!!!!!)

I've done nutrisystem before. The food is good, but I got tired of it after a while. I think I was 3 pounds from my goal when I quit, but I was targeting the low end of the weight spectrum for my height (151). I never got to the maintenance phase because they don't (or at least didn't) let you change your goal once it was set.
I would do it again if I had the money for it.
But be warned... there are other foods you'll have to buy to suppliment, like fruits, veggies, and breads.

Nooney, this is good news for me, with you loosing to only 3 pounds away from your goal weight WTG! with using the nutrisystem plan to do it, this gives me so much inspiration to really do this for myself too, I'm ready emotionally, I just hope the physical part takes hold.
I have been talking about this for a few months now, I was trying to build myself up talking about it because I was afraid the food wood taste like wood chips and I was afraid period, this is a major life change for me, I think I'm ready now though, especially with you all by my side who understands the trauma.
I need to do this plan not only because the food is portioned already but with me not eating right as far as only one meal a day, I just don't think about eating is my problem but when I do it it turns to fat and maybe this plan will help me get back into the swing of things.

I know a lady who peeled of 50 pounds on Nutrisystem last year, and she has kept it off, looks fabulous too.
Her hub didn't joined her in the process, (he's a stick), so for all that time he was eating every pre-made kinda meal on the shelves---------Smokey Robinson makes FOOD? ; )

I know one thing if the food is bland I will be adding spices here and there, I can't stand bland food, and talking about bland food? My husband and I went out for dinner the other night needless to say it was very expensive dog food, both plates went into to go boxes after only taking one bite, we came home to eat a bowl of cereal for dinner not that cereal is bad but we had our hearts set on Fajitas, the dogs were both so very happy and full, The worst Fajitas I have ever eaten, it was horrid, I told my husband I have had a TV dinner that tasted better.
