As I mentioned somewhere on this board a while back, I have been working at my weightloss and fitness based around a plan that a trainer provided for my mom last year.
My hearty netular-treks lead me to what is clearly the source of her trainer's approach--this source goes by the name of Tom Venuto, an all natural competative body-builder, who has put together an e-book loaded with every lil blessed drop of knowledge he has acquired and practiced that have made him what he is today, (AND MAN IS HE SOMETHING!).
I have most joyfully been on his band-wagon for some time now, with nothing but positive results. It's by no means any kind of "quick fix", as morphing one's self into a fit being always takes TIME and WORK, we all know. That being said, his system DOES hold many an insider-secret to optimal fitness. It's not easy, but nothing worth it's salt ever is--and it's incredible how relatively easy the work can be, once one's mind is on track.
